Hamilton's Dominance Continues with Win in France

Once again, a Formula 1 circuit was dominated by Mercedes as the Paul Ricard circuit was no match for Lewis Hamilton, who easily raced to another victory at the French Grand Prix.

Hamilton finished more than 18 seconds ahead of teammate Valtteri Bottas to win his sixth Grand Prix in eight races this season. The others have been won by Bottas to give Mercedes a clean sweep at the top of the podium so far during the 2019 season.

The victory, Hamilton's fourth in a row, gives him a 36-point lead over Bottas and a 76-point lead over third-placed Sebastian Vettel in a season that basically looks over before the midway point.

It's a short turnaround for drivers at this point of the calendar with the Austrian Grand Prix set to go from June 28 to 30.
