Bottas Wins, Hamilton Locks up Championship in Texas

It was a double whammy Sunday in Austin, Texas for Mercedes as Valtteri Bottas raced to the checkered flag and Lewis Hamilton locked up the drivers championship with a second-place finish in the United States Grand Prix.

Bottas crossed the finish line more than four seconds earlier than his Mercedes teammate for his fourth win of the season while Red Bull's Max Verstappen finished third.

Ferrari was shut out of the podium as Charles Leclerc finished P4 and Sebastian Vettel recorded a DNF for the second time in four races.

With two races to go, there is jockeying for position to be done from P3 to P5 as just 19 points separate Leclerc and Vettel in third and fifth respectively, with Verstappen in between.
