Mountain West Tournament - Boise State Falls 77-69 to Nevada - Recap
Jazz Johnson scored 20 points leading Nevada to a 77-69 victory over Boise State at Thomas & Mack Center on Thursday.
Nevada earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -11.5-point spread.
Caleb Martin had 19 points for Nevada and Tre'Shawn Thurman chipped in with 17 points. Cody Martin had 9 assists for them, while Jordan Caroline was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 9 boards.
Boise State got 21 points from Derrick Alston in a losing cause and another 18 points from Justinian Jessup. Marcus Dickinson contributed 5 assists for them, while Zach Haney had 7 rebounds.
Nevada was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Nevada had a 30-23 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
