LSU Defeats UMBC 77-50 - Recap
LSU cruised to victory on Tuesday, running UMBC out of the gym and running up a 77-50 score at Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
Charles Manning Jr. had 16 points for LSU and Trendon Watford chipped in with 12 points. James Bishop had 4 assists for them, while Trendon Watford was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 12 boards.
UMBC got 14 points from Dimitrije Spasojevic in a losing cause and another 10 points from L.J. Owens. Darnell Rogers contributed 4 assists for them, while Dimitrije Spasojevic had 6 rebounds.
LSU was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
LSU won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 48-30.
LSU looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Utah State. UMBC will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Eastern Michigan.
