The battle between Miami-Ohio and Central State didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Central State was handed a 80-45 defeat on Wednesday at John D. Millett Hall.
Miami-Ohio got 15 points from Josh Brewer and another 14 points from Nike Sibande. Isaiah Coleman-Lands contributed 4 assists, while Dalonte Brown cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
Central State got 17 points from Darweshi Hunter in a losing cause and another 7 points from Alex Dotson. Tom Johnson contributed 2 assists for them, while Darweshi Hunter had 13 rebounds.
Miami-Ohio was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Miami-Ohio won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 48-35.
