Kessler Edwards scored 30 points and added 12 rebounds for a double-double, leading Pepperdine over Central Arkansas, 92-79, on Saturday at Firestone Fieldhouse.
Pepperdine got 17 points from Colbey Ross and another 13 points from Kameron Edwards. Colbey Ross contributed 8 assists, while Kessler Edwards cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
Central Arkansas got a 18-point performance from Eddy Kayouloud, who was supported by 13 points from Jared Chatham. Rylan Bergersen had 6 assists in a losing cause for Central Arkansas, while Hayden Koval grabbed 8 rebounds.
Pepperdine was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Pepperdine won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 40-35.
