Indiana Falls 78-70 to Sky - Recap
Chicago got 19 points from Allie Quigley en route to a 78-70 victory over Indiana on Sunday at Wintrust Arena.
Bettors who backed the Sky were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as a favorite of -5.5 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go UNDER the closing total of 158.5.
Chicago got 19 points from Stefanie Dolson and another 13 points from Diamond DeShields. Courtney Vandersloot contributed 14 assists, while Jantel Lavender cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
The Fever got a 13-point performance from Erica Wheeler, who was supported by 12 points from Candice Dupree. Erica Wheeler had 9 assists in a losing cause for Indiana, while Teaira McCowan grabbed 16 rebounds.
The Sky hit the break losing 36-27 before taking care of business in the second half.
Next game, Chicago takes its act on the road to face Connecticut looking for another win. For Indiana, they head on the road to face Phoenix.
