Saskatchewan Roughriders vs British Columbia Lions Wrap - Saskatchewan Wins 27-19

The Lions had no answer for William Powell on Friday as the Roughriders rolled to a 27-19 win at BC Place Stadium.

The Roughriders were a -7.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 47.0.

William Powell rushed for 111 yards, while Cody Fajardo added 20 yards in the win. Naaman Roosevelt and Kyran Moore added 106 and 35 receiving yards respectively.

John White IV rushed for 38 yards for British Columbia, while Danny O'Brien added 32 yards. Danny O'Brien threw for 171 yards for the Lions, while receivers Bryan Burnham and Jevon Cottoy had 72 and 40 yards respectively.

British Columbia lost the offensive yardage battle to Saskatchewan 365-262 yards in Friday's game. Saskatchewan had more first downs as that total ended up 22-15.

Saskatchewan led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:14-28:46 split in that important category.

Saskatchewan heads into a Week 20 battle against the Eskimos. British Columbia, meanwhile, will have their next action against Calgary.
