Eskimos Fall 27-24 Against Saskatchewan - Game Recap

Cody Fajardo's 429-yard performance through the air was the key in Saskatchewan's 27-24 win over Edmonton on Saturday at The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium.

Saskatchewan was a favorite by -2.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 47.0.

Cody Fajardo completed 25 of 35 pass attempts for 429 yards and 2 TDs for the Roughriders in the win.

Shaq Cooper rushed for 65 yards for Edmonton, while Alex Taylor added 9 yards. Trevor Harris threw for 321 yards for the Eskimos, while receivers Ricky Collins Jr. and Tevaun Smith had 99 and 92 yards respectively.

Edmonton lost the offensive yardage battle to Saskatchewan 529-403 yards in Saturday's game. Saskatchewan had more first downs as that total ended up 26-24.

Saskatchewan lost the time of possession battle 30:41-29:19, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
