Gators vs Wildcats Final: 29-21 - Recap

The Gators grabbed a Week 3 victory over the Wildcats on Saturday, winning 29-21 at Kroger Field.

Bettors who backed the Gators were disappointed, as they failed to cover the closing number of -10.0. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go OVER the closing total of 46.5.

Josh Hammond rushed for 76 yards, while Lamical Perine added 27 yards in the win. Van Jefferson and Kyle Pitts added 93 and 63 receiving yards respectively.

Kavosiey Smoke rushed for 81 yards for Kentucky, while A.J. Rose added 46 yards. Sawyer Smith threw for 267 yards for the Wildcats, while receivers Ahmad Wagner and Lynn Bowden Jr. had 70 and 70 yards respectively.

Kentucky lost the offensive yardage battle to Florida 438-407 yards in Saturday's game. Kentucky had more first downs as that total ended up 26-21.

Kentucky led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 34:55-25:05 split in that important category.

Next game, Florida takes its act home to face Tennessee looking for another win. For Kentucky, they head on the road to face Mississippi State.
