Florida State Falls 31-24 to Cavaliers - Recap

The Seminoles came up short against the Cavaliers in Week 3 action on Saturday, falling 31-24 at Scott Stadium.

The match was decisive in favor of Virginia, but bettors saw the game push as the margin of victory was the same as the closing point spread. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 54.5.

Florida State was outgained by Virginia 415-329 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 27-21 by the Cavaliers.

Virginia led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 39:44-20:16 split in that important category.

Virginia looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Old Dominion. Florida State will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Louisville.
