Maryland Falls 20-17 to Owls - Recap
The Terrapins were burned by Jadan Blue for 132 receiving yards on Saturday as the Owls picked up a 20-17 win at Lincoln Financial Field.
Temple was the ATS victor, as they covered the +5.5-point spread as an underdog. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 66.0 were rewarded at the payout window.
Re'Mahn Davis rushed for 92 yards, while Jager Gardner added 82 yards in the win. Jadan Blue and Isaiah Wright added 132 and 58 receiving yards respectively.
Anthony McFarland Jr. rushed for 132 yards for Maryland, while Javon Leake added 57 yards. Josh Jackson threw for 183 yards for the Terrapins, while receivers Dontay Demus Jr. and Chigoziem Okonkwo had 42 and 37 yards respectively.
Temple outgained Maryland 427-340 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 21-19 by the Owls.
Temple lost the time of possession battle 30:37-27:19, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, Temple takes its act on the road to face Buffalo looking for another win. For Maryland, they head home to face Penn State.
