LSU Tigers vs Ole Miss Rebels Wrap - LSU Wins 58-37

Joe Burrow sliced and diced the Rebels defense for 489 yards as LSU handed Ole Miss a 58-37 defeat on Saturday at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium at Hollingsworth Field.

LSU did not, however, defeat the Rebels against the spread, which closed at -21.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 67.0.

Joe Burrow completed 32 of 42 pass attempts for 489 yards for the Tigers in the win.

John Rhys Plumlee rushed for 212 yards for Ole Miss, while Jerrion Ealy added 141 yards. Matt Corral threw for 89 yards for the Rebels, while receivers Elijah Moore and Octavious Cooley had 143 and 29 yards respectively.

Ole Miss was outgained by LSU 714-614 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 35-26 by the Tigers.

Ole Miss lost the time of possession battle 32:51-27:09, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, LSU takes its act home to face Arkansas looking for another win. For Ole Miss, they head on the road to face Mississippi State.
