Utes Down UCLA 49-3 - Match Report

Tyler Huntley sliced and diced the Bruins defense for 335 yards as Utah handed UCLA a 49-3 defeat on Saturday at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

The Utes were a -20.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 51.5.

Tyler Huntley completed 14 of 18 pass attempts for 335 yards for the Utes in the win.

Joshua Kelley rushed for 78 yards for UCLA, while Austin Burton added 6 yards. Dorian Thompson-Robinson threw for 219 yards for the Bruins, while receivers Kyle Philips and Devin Asiasi had 86 and 72 yards respectively.

UCLA was outgained by Utah 536-269 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 19-18 by the Utes.

Utah lost the time of possession battle 30:37-29:23, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Utah takes its act on the road to face Arizona looking for another win. For UCLA, they head on the road to face Southern California.
