Rainbow Warriors vs Rebels Final: 21-7 - Recap

The Rebels were burned by Jared Smart for 106 receiving yards on Saturday as the Rainbow Warriors picked up a 21-7 win at Sam Boyd Stadium.

Bettors who backed the Rainbow Warriors were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as a favorite of -7.0 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go UNDER the closing total of 72.5.

Miles Reed rushed for 90 yards, while Cole McDonald added 43 yards in the win. Jared Smart and Cedric Byrd II added 106 and 60 receiving yards respectively.

Chad Magyar rushed for 65 yards for UNLV, while Charles Williams added 57 yards. Kenyon Oblad threw for 118 yards for the Rebels, while receivers Darren Woods Jr. and Giovanni Fauolo Sr. had 63 and 57 yards respectively.

UNLV lost the offensive yardage battle to Hawaii 442-235 yards in Saturday's game. Hawaii had more first downs as that total ended up 27-13.

The time of possession battle favored Hawaii as their offense was on the field for 36:45, longer than the 23:15 of their opponents.

Hawaii heads into a 13 battle against San Diego State. UNLV, meanwhile, will have their next action against San Jose State.
