Kansas Falls 47-14 to Bears - Recap

Kansas couldn't hang with the Bears on Saturday as Baylor blasted the Jayhawks 47-14 in Week 4 action at McLane Stadium.

Baylor won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -17.0-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go PUSH the closing number of 61.0.

John Lovett rushed for 78 yards, while Craig Williams added 61 yards in the win. Trestan Ebner and R.J. Sneed added 53 and 51 receiving yards respectively.

Pooka Williams Jr. rushed for 76 yards for Kansas, while Velton Gardner added 70 yards. Jalon Daniels threw for 159 yards for the Jayhawks, while receivers Kwamie Lassiter II and Takulve Williams had 65 and 26 yards respectively.

Baylor outgained Kansas 352-328 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 24-20 by the Bears.

The time of possession battle favored Kansas as their offense was on the field for 31:30, longer than the 28:30 of their opponents.

Baylor heads into a Week 5 battle against West Virginia. Kansas, meanwhile, will have their next action against Oklahoma State.
