Troy Trojans vs BYU Cougars Recap - Cougars Win 48-7

Zach Wilson led the way with 392 passing yards on Saturday as the Cougars picked up a 48-7 victory over the Trojans at LaVell Edwards Stadium.

Zach Wilson completed 23 of 28 pass attempts for 392 yards for the Cougars in the win.

Kimani Vidal rushed for 23 yards for Troy, while B.J. Smith added 16 yards. Jacob Free threw for 0 yards for the Trojans, while receivers Tray Eafford and B.J. Smith had 59 and 36 yards respectively.

Troy lost the offensive yardage battle to BYU 664-181 yards in Saturday's game. BYU had more first downs as that total ended up 33-8.

The time of possession battle favored BYU as their offense was on the field for 44:12, longer than the 15:48 of their opponents.

BYU heads into a Week 5 battle against LA Tech. Troy, meanwhile, will have their next action against South Alabama.
