Eagles vs Bobcats Final: 24-21 - Recap
The Bobcats came up short against the Eagles in Week 4 action on Saturday, falling 24-21 at Alumni Stadium.
Boston College did not, however, defeat the Bobcats against the spread, which closed at -22.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 57.0.
Phil Jurkovec rushed for 37 yards, while David Bailey added 33 yards in the win. Hunter Long and Travis Levy added 81 and 35 receiving yards respectively.
Calvin Hill rushed for 49 yards for Texas State, while Jahmyl Jeter added 36 yards. Brady McBride threw for 229 yards for the Bobcats, while receivers Drue Jackson and Marcell Barbee had 54 and 45 yards respectively.
Boston College lost the offensive yardage battle to Texas State 357-297 yards in Saturday's game. Boston College had more first downs as that total ended up 23-21.
Texas State led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:00-29:00 split in that important category.
Next game, Boston College takes its act home to face North Carolina looking for another win. For Texas State, they head on the road to face Troy.
