Malik Cunningham rushed for 100 yards for Louisville, while Jeremy Smith added 74 yards. Jawon Pass threw for 67 yards for the Cardinals, while receivers Jaylen Smith and Seth Dawkins had 56 and 34 yards respectively.
NC State outgained Louisville 518-411 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 29-19 by the Wolfpack.
Louisville lost the time of possession battle 31:42-28:18, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
NC State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against North Carolina. Louisville will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Kentucky.
