Wolverines vs Hoosiers Final: 31-20 - Recap
The Hoosiers had no answer for Karan Higdon on Saturday as the Wolverines rolled to a 31-20 win at Michigan Stadium.
Michigan did not, however, defeat the Hoosiers against the spread, which closed at -28.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 53.5.
Karan Higdon rushed for 101 yards, while Shea Patterson added 68 yards in the win. Zach Gentry and Nick Eubanks added 83 and 41 receiving yards respectively.
Stevie Scott rushed for 139 yards for Indiana, while Peyton Ramsey added 51 yards. Peyton Ramsey threw for 195 yards for the Hoosiers, while receivers Nick Westbrook and Luke Timian had 84 and 62 yards respectively.
Michigan outgained Indiana 507-385 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 25-21 by the Wolverines.
The time of possession battle favored Michigan as their offense was on the field for 35:54, longer than the 24:06 of their opponents.
Next game, Michigan takes its act on the road to face Ohio State looking for another win. For Indiana, they head home to face Purdue.
