Predators Fall 4-2 Against Carolina - Game Recap

Carolina earned a 4-2 victory over Nashville behind a 2-goal performance from Sebastian Aho on Tuesday at Bridgestone Arena.

The Hurricanes were a -117 favorite in the win. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 5.5.

Sebastian Aho(2), Vincent Trocheck, and Steven Lorentz each scored for the Hurricanes in the victory. Aho opened the scoring for Carolina.

James Reimer turned in a 36-save effort for the Hurricanes.

Nashville got goals from Mattias Ekholm, and Calle Jarnkrok in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Pekka Rinne stopped 16 of 17 shots for the Predators, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Carolina went 2-for-3, while the Predators were 1-for-3 with the man advantage.

Nashville outshot Carolina 38-28 in the game.

Carolina looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Red Wings. The Predators will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Florida.
