Utah Defeats Detroit 154-148 - Recap
Utah got 36 points from Jordan Clarkson en route to a 154-148 victory over Detroit on Wednesday at Delta Center.
Utah did not, however, defeat the Pistons against the spread, which closed at -8.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 241.5.
Utah got 31 points from Lauri Markkanen and another 25 points from Collin Sexton. Collin Sexton contributed 5 assists, while Walker Kessler cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
The Pistons got a 36-point performance from Bojan Bogdanovic, who was supported by 31 points from Cade Cunningham. Cade Cunningham had 12 assists in a losing cause for Detroit, while Jalen Duren grabbed 10 rebounds.
Utah trailed at halftime, 68-66.
Detroit had a 48-43 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Utah takes its act on the road to face Boston looking for another win. For Detroit, they head on the road to face Golden State.
