Miami Falls 111-88 to Pelicans - Recap

New Orleans cruised to victory on Friday, running Miami out of the gym and running up a 111-88 score at Kaseya Center.

The Pelicans were a +3.0-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 207.5.

New Orleans got 30 points from CJ McCollum and another 17 points from Jose Alvarado. CJ McCollum contributed 7 assists, while Jonas Valanciunas cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.

The Heat got a 17-point performance from Jimmy Butler, who was supported by 14 points from Cole Swider. Jimmy Butler had 5 assists in a losing cause for Miami, while Bam Adebayo grabbed 10 rebounds.

The Pelicans hit the break winning 46-42 before taking care of business in the second half.

New Orleans won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 56-34.

New Orleans heads into a battle against the Pistons. Miami, meanwhile, will have their next action against Cleveland.
