Rhodes Lynx vs UAB Blazers Wrap - UAB Wins 110-53
The battle between UAB and Rhodes didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Rhodes was handed a 110-53 defeat on Saturday at Bartow Arena.
Trey Jemison had 17 points for UAB and Tyler Bertram chipped in with 17 points. Tony Toney had 5 assists for them, while Ty Brewer was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 6 boards.
Rhodes got 8 points from Mike Wagner in a losing cause and another 7 points from Zavien Williams. Mike Wagner contributed 4 assists for them, while Luke Cooper had 7 rebounds.
UAB was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
UAB won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-25.
