Charleston Classic - Towson Falls 65-49 to Houston - Recap

Houston grabbed a 65-49 win over Towson on Thursday, behind a 18-point effort from L.J. Cryer at TD Arena.

Houston won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -20.5-point spread.

Houston got 14 points from Emanuel Sharp and another 10 points from Ja'Vier Francis. Jamal Shead contributed 8 assists, while J'Wan Roberts cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.

Towson got a 10-point performance from Christian May, who was supported by 9 points from Messiah Jones. Dylan Williamson had 4 assists in a losing cause for Towson, while Charles Thompson grabbed 9 rebounds.

Houston was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
