Youngstown State Defeats IUPUI 75-65 - Recap

Brett Thompson scored 20 points leading Youngstown State to a 75-65 victory over IUPUI at Beeghly Center on Sunday.

Youngstown State did not, however, defeat IUPUI against the spread, which closed at -17.0 at most sportsbooks.

Youngstown State got 14 points from Ziggy Reid and another 13 points from John Lovelace Jr.. Bryson Langdon contributed 8 assists, while Ziggy Reid cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.

IUPUI got a 18-point performance from Vincent Brady II, who was supported by 14 points from Bryce Monroe. Bryce Monroe had 7 assists in a losing cause for IUPUI, while Qwanzi Samuels grabbed 13 rebounds.

IUPUI had a 43-32 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Youngstown State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the PFW. IUPUI will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Wisconsin-Green Bay.
