Saint Louis Falls 84-73 Against UMass - Game Recap

UMass earned a 84-73 victory over Saint Louis on Saturday, getting 19 points from Matt Cross at Chaifetz Arena.

UMass won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -4.5-point spread as favorites.

Rahsool Diggins had 15 points for UMass and Keon Thompson chipped in with 14 points. Matt Cross had 5 assists for them, while Daniel Hankins-Sanford was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.

Saint Louis got 16 points from Gibson Jimerson in a losing cause and another 14 points from Larry Hughes II. Michael Meadows Jr. contributed 7 assists for them, while Kellen Thames had 5 rebounds.

UMass was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

UMass won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 35-24.

UMass looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the George Mason. Saint Louis will aim to get back on the winning track at Loyola-Chicago.
