Duquesne Defeats VCU 69-59 - Recap

VCU was burned for 26 points by Dae Dae Grant on Tuesday as Duquesne picked up a 69-59 win at Stuart Siegel Center.

Duquesne was an underdog by +5.0 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors.

Duquesne got 10 points from Jake DiMichele and another 9 points from Jimmy Clark III. Jimmy Clark III contributed 4 assists, while Fousseyni Drame cleaned the glass with 6 rebounds.

VCU got a 18-point performance from Joe Bamisile, who was supported by 11 points from Toibu Lawal. Jason Nelson had 5 assists in a losing cause for VCU, while Sean Bairstow grabbed 5 rebounds.

Duquesne was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Duquesne had a 30-28 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Duquesne looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the George Washington. VCU will aim to get back on the winning track at Dayton.
