Recap - Harvard Defeats Columbia 62-59

Harvard earned a 62-59 victory over Columbia on Friday, getting 18 points from Malik Mack at Lavietes Pavilion.

Harvard did not, however, defeat Columbia against the spread, which closed at -7.0 at most sportsbooks.

Chisom Okpara had 13 points for Harvard and Louis Lesmond chipped in with 11 points. Malik Mack had 6 assists for them, while Justice Ajogbor was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.

Columbia got a 12-point performance from Kenny Noland, who was supported by 8 points from Avery Brown. Avery Brown had 2 assists in a losing cause for Columbia, while Blair Thompson grabbed 7 rebounds.

Harvard was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Columbia had a 35-33 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Harvard looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Cornell. Columbia will aim to get back on the winning track at Dartmouth.
