IUPUI Jaguars vs Minnesota Golden Gophers Recap - Minnesota Wins 101-65
The battle between Minnesota and IUPUI didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as IUPUI was handed a 101-65 defeat on Tuesday at Williams Arena.
Minnesota was a favorite by -22.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors.
Minnesota got 19 points from Cam Christie and another 16 points from Parker Fox. Elijah Hawkins contributed 17 assists, while Pharrel Payne cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
IUPUI got a 20-point performance from Bryce Monroe, who was supported by 13 points from Qwanzi Samuels. Jlynn Counter had 5 assists in a losing cause for IUPUI, while Qwanzi Samuels grabbed 10 rebounds.
Minnesota was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Minnesota had a 37-21 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Minnesota takes its act home to face Ball State looking for another win. For IUPUI, they head home to face Lindenwood.
