Recap - Charlotte Defeats UTSA 79-70

Charlotte grabbed a 79-70 win over UTSA on Thursday, behind a 19-point effort from Dishon Jackson at Dale F. Halton Arena.

Charlotte did not, however, defeat UTSA against the spread, which closed at -13.0 at most sportsbooks.

Charlotte got 17 points from Lu'Cye Patterson and another 12 points from Nik Graves. Isaiah Folkes contributed 5 assists, while Igor Milicic Jr. cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.

UTSA got a 22-point performance from PJ Carter, who was supported by 13 points from Christian Tucker. Jordan Ivy-Curry had 3 assists in a losing cause for UTSA, while Trey Edmonds grabbed 10 rebounds.

Charlotte was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

UTSA won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-30.

Next game, Charlotte takes its act home to face Wichita State looking for another win. For UTSA, they head on the road to face Temple.
