U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam - San Jose State Defeats Hampton 71-52 - Recap

Alvaro Cardenas scored 23 points leading San Jose State to a 71-52 victory over Hampton at Virgin Islands Sport & Fitness Center on Monday.

San Jose State won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -10.5-point spread as favorites.

San Jose State was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Hampton had a 29-26 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Next game, San Jose State takes its act home to face North Dakota State looking for another win. For Hampton, they head home to face UMBC.
