Calgary Defeats Toronto 26-16 - Recap

Nick Arbuckle passed for 2 TDs and 191 yards in leading Calgary to a 26-16 win over Toronto on Thursday at McMahon Stadium.

Calgary did not, however, defeat the Argonauts against the spread, which closed at -13.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 52.0.

Nick Arbuckle completed 20 of 30 pass attempts for 191 yards and 2 TDs for the Stampeders in the win.

James Wilder Jr. rushed for 44 yards for Toronto, while McLeod Bethel-Thompson added 19 yards. McLeod Bethel-Thompson threw for 343 yards for the Argonauts, while receivers Armanti Edwards and S.J. Green had 77 and 72 yards respectively.

Calgary lost the offensive yardage battle to Toronto 417-276 yards in Thursday's game. Toronto had more first downs as that total ended up 21-17.

Calgary led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:27-28:33 split in that important category.

Calgary looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the RedBlacks. The Argonauts will aim to get back on the winning track at Edmonton.
