Commodores Fall 17-12 Against Texas A&M - Game Recap

Isaiah Spiller ran for 117 yards as Texas A&M handled Vanderbilt by a score of 17-12 on Saturday at Kyle Field.

Texas A&M did not, however, defeat the Commodores against the spread, which closed at -31.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 46.0.

Isaiah Spiller rushed for 117 yards, while Ainias Smith added 51 yards in the win. Caleb Chapman and Jalen Preston added 40 and 39 receiving yards respectively.

Ja'Veon Marlow rushed for 65 yards for Vanderbilt, while Jamauri Wakefield added 37 yards. Ken Seals threw for 150 yards for the Commodores, while receivers Amir Abdur-Rahman and Ben Bresnahan had 72 and 28 yards respectively.

Texas A&M lost the time of possession battle 33:59-26:01, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Texas A&M takes its act on the road to face Alabama looking for another win. For Vanderbilt, they head home to face LSU.
