Western Michigan Falls 41-10 to Hawkeyes - Recap

The Broncos had no answer for Leshon Williams on Saturday as the Hawkeyes rolled to a 41-10 win at Kinnick Stadium.

Iowa was the ATS victor, as they covered the -28.5-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 43.0 were rewarded at the payout window.

Leshon Williams rushed for 145 yards, while Kamari Moulton added 50 yards in the win. Erick All and Steven Stilianos added 34 and 29 receiving yards respectively.

Treyson Bourguet rushed for 32 yards for Western Michigan, while Zahir Abdus-Salaam added 31 yards. Treyson Bourguet threw for 124 yards for the Broncos, while receivers Anthony Sambucci and Blake Bosma had 64 and 43 yards respectively.

Iowa outgained Western Michigan 387-239 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 19-8 by the Hawkeyes.

Western Michigan lost the time of possession battle 33:53-26:07, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Iowa takes its act on the road to face Penn State looking for another win. For Western Michigan, they head on the road to face Toledo.
