Nittany Lions vs Hawkeyes Final: 31-0 - Recap

Iowa failed to break through the Penn State defense on Saturday, suffering a 31-0 shutout at the hands of the Nittany Lions in Week 4 action.

The Nittany Lions were a -14.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 38.0.

Kaytron Allen rushed for 72 yards, while Beau Pribula added 55 yards in the win. KeAndre Lambert-Smith and Theo Johnson added 66 and 42 receiving yards respectively.

Kamari Moulton rushed for 18 yards for Iowa, while Leshon Williams added 9 yards. Cade McNamara threw for 42 yards for the Hawkeyes, while receivers Erick All and Diante Vines had 35 and 14 yards respectively.

Iowa lost the offensive yardage battle to Penn State 397-76 yards in Saturday's game. Penn State had more first downs as that total ended up 28-4.

The time of possession battle favored Penn State as their offense was on the field for 45:27, longer than the 14:33 of their opponents.

Next game, Penn State takes its act on the road to face Northwestern looking for another win. For Iowa, they head home to face Michigan State.
