Recap - Eagles Defeat Ball State 40-3

Davis Brin was good for 344 yards through the air on Saturday as the Eagles got past the Cardinals by a score of 40-3 at Scheumann Stadium.

Georgia Southern was the ATS victor, as they covered the -5.5-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 60.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Davis Brin completed 34 of 46 pass attempts for 344 yards for the Eagles in the win.

Marquez Cooper rushed for 16 yards for Ball State, while Kiael Kelly added 10 yards. Kiael Kelly threw for 37 yards for the Cardinals, while receivers Rico Barfield and Qian Magwood had 50 and 47 yards respectively.

Ball State lost the offensive yardage battle to Georgia Southern 530-197 yards in Saturday's game. Georgia Southern had more first downs as that total ended up 26-10.

Ball State lost the time of possession battle 30:41-29:19, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Georgia Southern looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Coastal Carolina. Ball State will aim to get back on the winning track at Western Michigan.
