Recap - Longhorns Defeat Kansas 40-14

Quinn Ewers's 325-yard performance through the air was the key in Texas's 40-14 win over Kansas on Saturday at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium/Jamail Field.

Texas was the ATS victor, as they covered the -15.5-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 60.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Quinn Ewers completed 25 of 35 pass attempts for 325 yards for the Longhorns in the win.

Devin Neal rushed for 45 yards for Kansas, while Daniel Hishaw Jr. added 44 yards. Jason Bean threw for 136 yards for the Jayhawks, while receivers Trevor Wilson and Mason Fairchild had 58 and 30 yards respectively.

Kansas was outgained by Texas 661-260 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 33-11 by the Longhorns.

Kansas lost the time of possession battle 39:41-18:27, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Texas heads into a Week 6 battle against Oklahoma. Kansas, meanwhile, will have their next action against UCF.
