Bulldogs Down Vanderbilt 37-20 - Match Report

Daijun Edwards tore up the turf for 146 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Bulldogs to a 37-20 win over the Commodores at FirstBank Stadium.

Georgia won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -33.0-point spread. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 55.0.

Daijun Edwards rushed for 146 yards, while Cash Jones added 65 yards in the win. Dominic Lovett and Ladd McConkey added 72 and 58 receiving yards respectively.

Sedrick Alexander rushed for 16 yards for Vanderbilt, while Patrick Smith added 11 yards. Ken Seals threw for 201 yards for the Commodores, while receivers Jayden McGowan and London Humphreys had 58 and 51 yards respectively.

Georgia outgained Vanderbilt 552-219 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 26-9 by the Bulldogs.

Georgia led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 37:19-22:41 split in that important category.

Georgia looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Florida. Vanderbilt will aim to get back on the winning track at Ole Miss.
