Kansas State Falls 33-30 to Longhorns - Recap

Jonathon Brooks tore up the turf for 112 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Longhorns to a 33-30 win over the Wildcats at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium/Jamail Field.

The game was a push (tie) for betting purposes as the final score was identical to the -3.0 number at most sportsbooks. The game proved to be a winner for OVER bettors based on the closing total of 49.5.

Jonathon Brooks rushed for 112 yards, while CJ Baxter added 90 yards in the win. Adonai Mitchell and Xavier Worthy added 149 and 48 receiving yards respectively.

Treshaun Ward rushed for 30 yards for Kansas State, while DJ Giddens added 22 yards. Will Howard threw for 327 yards for the Wildcats, while receivers Jayce Brown and Phillip Brooks had 77 and 76 yards respectively.

Kansas State lost the offensive yardage battle to Texas 478-360 yards in Saturday's game. Kansas State had more first downs as that total ended up 20-18.

The time of possession battle favored Texas as their offense was on the field for 32:08, longer than the 27:52 of their opponents.

Texas heads into a Week 11 battle against TCU. Kansas State, meanwhile, will have their next action against Baylor.
