Hawkeyes Down Northwestern 10-7 - Match Report

The Hawkeyes were Week 10 winners on Saturday, coming out on top of the Wildcats by a score of 10-7 at Wrigley Field.

The Hawkeyes won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -5.0-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.

Leshon Williams rushed for 79 yards, while Jaziun Patterson added 21 yards in the win. Kaleb Brown and Hayden Large added 23 and 15 receiving yards respectively.

Anthony Tyus III rushed for 40 yards for Northwestern, while Cam Porter added 36 yards. Brendan Sullivan threw for 81 yards for the Wildcats, while receivers Bryce Kirtz and Cam Johnson had 33 and 30 yards respectively.

Iowa lost the offensive yardage battle to Northwestern 170-169 yards in Saturday's game. Iowa had more first downs as that total ended up 14-12.

The time of possession battle favored Iowa as their offense was on the field for 30:18, longer than the 29:42 of their opponents.

Iowa looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Rutgers. Northwestern will aim to get back on the winning track at Wisconsin.
