Jets vs Redskins Final: 34-17 - Recap

The Jets got a 4-TD performance from Sam Darnold as New York handed Washington a 34-17 defeat on Sunday at FedEx Field.

Sam Darnold completed 19 of 30 pass attempts for 293 yards and 4 TDs for the Jets in the win.

Adrian Peterson rushed for 25 yards for Washington, while Derrius Guice added 24 yards. Dwayne Haskins Jr. threw for 214 yards for the Redskins, while receivers Terry McLaurin and Kelvin Harmon had 69 and 53 yards respectively.

Washington was outgained by New York 400-225 yards in Sunday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 23-13 by the Jets.

Washington lost the time of possession battle 32:19-27:41, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

New York heads into a Week 12 battle against the Raiders. Washington, meanwhile, will have their next action against Detroit.
