Recap - Stars Defeat Calgary 4-3

Jake Oettinger made 43 stops Wednesday to lead the Stars over the Flames 4-3 at Scotiabank Saddledome.

The Stars were a -140 favorite in the win. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 5.5.

Mason Marchment, Evgenii Dadonov, Jason Robertson, and Jamie Benn each scored for the Stars in the victory. Benn opened the scoring for Dallas.

Jake Oettinger turned in a 43-save effort for the Stars.

Calgary got goals from Connor Zary, MacKenzie Weegar, and Andrew Mangiapane in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Jacob Markstrom stopped 26 of 30 shots for the Flames, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Dallas went 0-for-2, while the Flames were 1-for-5 with the man advantage.

Dallas lost the shots on goal battle to Calgary by a margin of 46-30.

Next game, Dallas takes its act on the road to face Edmonton looking for another win. For Calgary, they head on the road to face Seattle.
