St. Louis Falls 5-2 to Blue Jackets - Recap

Yegor Chinakhov scored a pair of goals against the Blues as Columbus handed St. Louis a 5-2 defeat on Friday at Nationwide Arena.

Columbus got goals from Yegor Chinakhov(2), Alexandre Texier, Kirill Marchenko, and Adam Fantilli in the victory. Marchenko opened the scoring at 1:42 of the first period.

St. Louis got a goal from Robert Thomas(2) in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Joel Hofer stopped 17 of 21 shots for the Blues, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

St. Louis outshot Columbus 44-22 in the game.
