Blue Jackets Fall 4-2 Against Carolina - Game Recap

The Blue Jackets came up short Thursday against the Hurricanes, falling 4-2.

The Hurricanes were a -289 favorite in the win. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 6.5.

Carolina got goals from Teuvo Teravainen, Seth Jarvis, Sebastian Aho, and Brady Skjei in the victory. Teravainen opened the scoring at 0:53 of the second period.

Spencer Martin stopped 20 of 22 Columbus shots in the victory.

Cole Sillinger, and Alex Nylander scored for the Blue Jackets, finding the net behind Spencer Martin.

Daniil Tarasov stopped 29 of 32 shots for the Blue Jackets, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Carolina went 0-for-1, while the Blue Jackets were 1-for-2 with the man advantage.

Carolina outshot Columbus 33-22 in the game.

Next game, Carolina takes its act home to face Winnipeg looking for another win. For Columbus, they head on the road to face Chicago.
